What can you do about this?
  • Sign our online petition in support of full gay civil marriage. This petition will be submitted to the government later in 2008.
  • Call into your local TD and tell him/her that you are disgusted with the current lack of civil and human rights for gay couples in Ireland. Did you know that if one person calls into a TD’s office concerning a particular matter it’s considered an issue; if six people call in it’s considered a political crisis! (Feel free to print off articles or some of our information on rights and hand it to them.) Don’t be embarrassed or concerned about going in to have a chat. You voted them in, tell them you expect them to represent you and your concerns on a national level.
  • Support our public demonstrations. Upcoming events will be posted on our homepage and will be sent to the mailing list. If you’d like to join this list please contact us: mailinglist-subscribe@lgbtnoise.ie

  • Become a Friend of Noise by donating as little as €20. As an independent group we rely on donations from individuals to continue our campaign for gay civil marriage and in raising awareness of the need for equal rights for gay Irish citizens.
